Hi! I'm Iván Amaro. First off, thanks for making it to this page. I built every corner of this site myself, because I think a portfolio should show how someone builds instead of just saying it. So look around: everything here, from the library to the little music game, is what I make when nobody's paying me. Imagine what happens when someone is.

The habit is older than this site: in my first year of the degree I spent an entire summer break on programming courses instead of playing video games. The obsession paid off fast: by my second year I was already working full stack at MiFinanzas, a startup where I learned how small teams ship real products under real constraints.

That experience made me a strong candidate for Mercado Libre, a job I had dreamed of and the one that taught me what standards look like at scale. Today I'm a backend engineer there, writing and designing the Go microservices that keep the platform's compliance systems running. If you've ever used it, you've run my code without knowing it.
